*FTE = “Full Time Equivalent.” As an example, three full time employees plus two half-time employees equals an FTE of four.
**Individuals and organizations can choose to donate monthly or annually to sponsor all or part of membership for an individual or organization whose resources would otherwise prevent them from joining. You may sponsor a specific individual or organization or ask us to choose. Applications for free membership are available for any individual or organization who would otherwise not be able to join due to limited economic resources.
Should I join as an individual or an organization?
Businesses (even sole-proprietorships), non-profits and government agencies should renew as organizations in order that their organization, products and services be promoted via the VOIS membership directory, website, events and other VOIS promotional activities. As a non-profit trade organization, dues paid to VOIS are not tax deductible but are expensable to organizations.
