As VOIS strategically chooses issues to engage in, our priorities will fall into three categories: concepts which we either 1.) endorse, 2.) advocate or 3.) champion.
The VOIS Policy Team will accept and solicit diverse, forward-thinking concepts from various organizations and individuals. The VOIS Policy Team will determine whether to engage on an issue and at what level. In general, VOIS will prioritize state-level policies issues first. Local, regional and federal issues will be considered for VOIS involvement and endorsement on a case-by-case basis.
If you are seeking VOIS’s participation in a policy issue or its endorsement of a candidate, please fill out this form and return it to policy@voisalliance.org. Please keep in mind that as a small and new organization, we will have to limit the number of issues or candidates that we can consider. We do anticipate that our capacity will grow over time.
